About open data & annual pass
This separate local app uses OSRM routes from OpenStreetMap, Photon place search, and a downloaded community toll dataset. It makes no live Rajmarg Yatra requests and uses no paid mapping API. Public OSRM and Photon demo servers are used by default; their availability is not guaranteed. Both endpoints can be replaced with self-hosted instances. The NH44 pilot uses preset anchors for Hyderabad–Bengaluru; other trips use ordinary OSRM routing. No live highway-reference lookup is performed. Toll candidates are matched against the selected route, so route choice and incomplete plaza data can affect coverage. Public services and incomplete road data can limit coverage.
Ordinary dataset plazas within 50 metres of the route are listed in travel order. The 22 catalogued ORR points use a separate, explicitly wider 150-metre tolerance only near named ORR mainline entry/exit transitions; multiple possible points remain ambiguous. Nearby parallel roads can produce false matches; missing coordinates can omit real plazas. A code/name-linked NETC reference point may surface an ordinary plaza that the primary coordinate misses; it is labeled as needing location review and its charge is excluded. The dataset and reference coverage are not complete or guaranteed current. Closed-system prices need a supported entry–exit pair. Two adjacent matched Hyderabad ORR interchanges use the supplied HMDA 2024–25 matrix once, visibly labeled as dated and not verified current; unmatched or ambiguous pairs remain unavailable.
The snapshot has no verified annual-pass eligibility fields. Your custom rule excludes expressways (explicit names/descriptions or NE highway references) and state highways (including state-source records); all remaining records are assumed eligible. Colours and with-pass amounts reflect that assumption, not verified entitlement. Missing road labels can misclassify a plaza.
Heavy-vehicle tariffs use the selected class, but all routes use OSRM's car profile. Truck dimensions, weight restrictions and live traffic are not modeled.
